Though, I don’t consider myself qualified to write this offering but I find this a great opportunity for me to show my gratitude towards the Society you have given for us.

You are one of the greatest teacher in the universe. You are one of the greatest leader as well. It is inconceivable how one can do this at the age of 70s. You came to this material world to deliver the fallen souls; the society is always indebted to you because you gave all the knowledge in many holy books and gave wonderful disciples to the world because they follow your instructions as it is.

I could able to start practicing my Bhakti now. I can really see amazing disciples each one of the gems on different bhavas.

I am your disciple and trying my best of the capacity but due to lack of understanding I may not be so sincere and may commit many mistakes, please forgive me and give your mercy so that I can do Seva to Guru and Gauranga perfectly.

I have a desire to purify myself and serve Guru and Gauranga; chant more and more and do Hari Kirtan, so please shower your mercy to me.

It gives me immense pleasure that we are celebrating 125th Vyas Pooja for you. On this most important Day I would like to reflect upon some of your teachings although fully unqualified to understand and comprehend your qualities but still for my purification I would like to recall and recollect some of experiences in 17-year long journey in ISKCON.

To anyone maybe after 100 years or even now who is unknown to your wonderful achievements in establishing Bhakti movement all that you accomplished appears nothing less than a miracle. The unconventional ways you chose to spread the teachings and moods of Lord Chaitanya like being a Sanyasi marrying your own disciples, giving Brahmin initiation to the people externally born in Mlechas and Yavanas Families, To establishing temples in closed churches and synagogues will surely be remembered for generations to come and will continue to inspire souls to take risks and in the service of Lord Sri Krishna.

Any Acharya preaches according to time, Place and circumstances and attacks the theories and philosophies which are against the concept of Bhakti prevalent at that time place and circumstances when you were performing your glorious pastimes of Preaching though threats like Mayavad and Shunyavad were there which all the previous acharyas had to counter as well additionally you were facing threat from the most detrimental thought that is western atheism in the name of Science. So personally, for me your contribution in establishing the Vedic truths during this atheism which is covered in the mask of science is the most inspiring. One of the hippies in early days asked you how spiritual world looks like and your response that “Spiritual World is Full of LSD” reminds me of the Mood of Narad Muni when he was preaching to Valmiki who could not chant the name of Ram so he was told to chant the opposite Mara.

I remember when in one of the ISKCON temples when HH Pejawar Swami from Madhava Sampradya was speaking he was glorifying various previous prominent Acharyas and at the end of his talk he said all of us combined are not even a spec of dust at the Lotus feet of Srila Prabhupad for what he has done to establish and spread the Bhakti Movement all over the planet. That was such a thrilling at the same time sobering experience for me as I realized that day that although so close to you apparently, I am not able to realize your glories and sacrifices you did for all of us.

I pray at your lotus feet today that please bless me so that I can fulfill your unfulfilled desires and be the instruments of your unlimited compassion and Grace.

Since I started attending Iskcon classes, your teachings have reinforced my faith in scriptures. I increased the time I spend thinking of god, through chanting, currently 1 hour per day. Most of my activity in Krishna consciousness is currently limited to chanting, reading and listening.

You are an evergreen inspiration for me. You are teaching how to develop love for God by very simple method. Only hope for is to understand about Supreme Personality of Godhead. We feel safe and able to survive in this Corona time and in my old age associating with Iskcon devotees has brought in a sense of purpose in my life. You are an ocean of mercy.

I am very far from philosophy but when I read your biography, I was surprised and encouraged. You went to America at age 70. The hardship you had face spreading Krishna conciousness. You believed in Krishna and your guru. You went to many countries and spread Krishna conciousness movement and translated vedic scriptures. Today your disciples are spreading Krishna conciousness movement all over the world.

It was a memorable moment seeing the honorable prime Minister of India Shri Modiji celebrated your the 125th Birth Anniversary and released Rs 125 commemorative con in your honour. This new shows your tireless efforts in sharing the teaching of Lord Krishna, Bhagavad Gita and Indian culture with the world.

We also thank iskcon members for their tireless efforts in not just spreading the culture of India but also their social initiatives such as forming the world largest vegetarian food relief program.

On the occasion of 125th Vyas Puja of Srila Prabhupada, I am trying to put down a few lines to express my most heartfelt gratitude towards him. Although, me commenting or writing anything about Srila Prabhupada is like showing a lamp to the Sun. I’d like to confess that before coming to Krishna Consciousness, I knew nothing about Srila Prabhupada. Occasionally, I had seen his photos on the internet, and had considered him to be just any another religious guru, as we have so many of them in India! However, when I read about his life. About how he went to the US at such a mature age and how he started Krishna Consciousness from scratch just with the help of a bunch of hippies, I felt a strong sense of attraction towards his personality. I mean no one could do that without Krishna by their side! The story about how the first edition of the ‘Bhagwad Gita As It Is” was published, has made my faith in him even stronger.

I have a strong belief that he was no less than an ‘Avatara’ sent down here by Krishna Himself to deliver the fallen souls like us. I consider myself so fortunate that I got the right association at a significant time when I myself was looking for answers to so many questions. I was always spiritually inclined, but never had a concrete direction. But now I have one and Krishna Consciousness has answered almost all my questions. And all this has been possible because of Srila Prabupada. I’ll be forever indebted to him, and perhaps will never be able to repay even a tiny bit. But I just want to offer my humble services to ISKCON as preacher. Although I know that I’, not qualified to do so. But I also know that Prabhupada is there with me and Krishna is there with me.

They will enable me! I never compromise on reading the books of Srila Prabhupada. They are so enlightening and have been written with so much authority. Srila Prabhupada himself used to say “ These books…. They are not my words. They are the words of Krishna Himself”

I don’t have enough words to thank Prabhupada and express my gratitude towards him. But this is my humble attempt to do so.

You came to this material world to deliver the fallen souls. We are always indebted to you because you gave all the knowledge in your books Bhagavad gita, Srimad Bhagavatam and Chaitanya Charitamrta. Your books are real books of knowledge unlike other millions of books which only keep the readers in darkness of ignorance. Millions of them became devotees of Krishna by reading your books. You gave yourself to the world through your Bhaktivedanta purports so that it teach us how to think for ourselves spiritually. Prabhupada, I am so grateful to you for everything that you have given us. We all are like toddlers and you are doing all spoon feeding. You have planned and given every single nutrient that a toddler needs for a healthy growth viz. Mahamantra, pure devotees, temples, books, lectures, festivals, dhams…..

In 2019 Kartik Mass I was in Vrindavan. Everyday at evening I was visiting to Krishna Balaram mandir. I saw many devotes from different parts of the world in Vaishnava attire. That day I realised “what you have done!”.

Without you our life would have been useless. But now , you have brought in a lot of purpose for our living. Thank you Srila Prabhupada for serving all of us and giving us an opportunity to regain our lost relationship with Krishna.

Please bless us that we will be able to became more and more Krishna consciousness and carry out your instructions with more determination and preach this Krishna consciousness for your pleasure.
