Swad Utsava – The festival of taste
In this festival we offer at least 108 unique delicious preparations to the Lord and prasadam is distributed to all the guests present. It’s an ecstatic event with Kirtan, speciallecture, grant aarti and soul satisfying prasadam. Everyone gets an opportunity to bring food offering for Lord and end result humongous offering and mindblowing feast!
Janmashtami
From past few years, ISKCON Whitefield is very successfully and on a grand scale celebrating Janmashtami and attracting residents of Whitefield, Marathahalli and AECS layout. The celebration is unique in the sense it is not like conventional festivals. There is “Cook for Krishna” where everyone gets a chance to bring some food offering for the Lord. There are all day events for kids such as Fancy Dress, Dance, Skit, Singing, Quiz etc. Events for adults such as “Kaun Banega Krishna Ka Bhakta” and “Best Eater Content”. There are many stalls where visitors gets to understand Lord Krishna more closely such as mantra meditation, video shows etc and sumptuous prasadam for all visitors
