I bow down at your lotus feet. On this auspicious day of your Vyas Puja, I beg for your mercy and blessings, so that I could be able to accomplish this great spiritual feast. Your transcendental books are the basis of this movement and is transforming the entire world. Your hard work for writing books in a very short span of time always give encouragement to read your books whenever I am feeling lack of interest.

You have given us a reason to live and that reason is knowledge of our purpose in life.

I am a very menial and insignificant soldier in your huge army of learned, devoted and enthusiastic soldiers.

I am awestruck every time I read or hear about your journey to west. It is difficult to believe that an old age person was so fearless and so confident on the mercy of God that he went to an unknown country for the first time without any proper arrangements of survival.

Moreover, all these efforts were put just to fulfill the wish of his Spiritual Master. 

In this era of kaliyuga when many bogus gurus are cheating the innocent people’s emotions for selfish reasons, you stand out to be like a savior for the mankind. You are not only giving them highest knowledge, which is the only and only way for living entities to go back to the spiritual world but you are also transforming their lives in many ways and making them a good human being in this material world. 

I was struggling in the battle of life when suddenly your soldiers came as a savior and made me realize the value of this life. You added lot of value to my life, which I thought to be of no use until your books made me realize how fortunate I am to get this human form of life.

I have definitely done some good karma in my previous life that I got connected to you and your ISKCON family. I can't thank you enough for what you have given to me.

You are strong and convincing , whenever you deliver lectures Srila Prabhupad ! – I am attracted the way how you counteract the mayavadis just by simple examples from our daily life. Hearing your lecture again and again is never the same or boring for we learn new points everytime . Your lectures have so much to assimilate. ‘Life comes from life’ – exemplary examples you have given.

You are the JagatGuru – Compiling several volumes of Vedic scriptures in modern English and present the essence alone to fallen souls like us in a simple way shows that your are an incarnation Of Vysadev in Kali Yuga. Knowing me to be unqualified, and ever needing your mercy I beg you to please use me as an instrument in your mission.

You are so potent that just by hearing your pastimes my consciousness gets purified and my faith in Krsna increases.You were totally dependent on Krsna in every moment of your life and I pray for your mercy so that I increase my dependence on Krsna for everything.

You had mentioned that you are living in your books. Along with your books, your presence is felt from your lecture recordings as well. The greatest asset that you have left aside, apart from books are your disciples. How much you would have inspired them which made them give up everything and just continue your mission as their life. Kindly bless me so that I can atleast get a glimpse of that mood.

Our Dear Srila Prabhupada,

You are the spiritual master of the whole world, you brought us near to Lord Chaitnya’s mercy and realized us our true identity. To fulfill the order of your spiritual master you took lot of inconveniences and at the age of 70 you went to western country just to preach the message of Lord Chaitanya. You have saved the life of millions of people and taught us how to live. We were living like cats and dogs and unaware about our predicament, but you just requested us to chant the holy names of the lord.

Your faith towards your spiritual master and Hare Krishna mahamatra simply changed our lives.

Your exemplary behavior:
You inspire us by your achar. I have read in books that how you were tolerated the behavior of hippies, they were smoking on your face and stealing your things, but you always showed compassion to them. Whenever you are physically sick you didn’t compromise on spreading sankirtan movement and you feel good whenever devotees inform you about book distribution scores. All night you write books without taking care of your physical body health.

Life dedicated to instructions of Spiritual master:
Your spiritual master told to spread this movement in western country and printing of books. You have made these instructions as your life and soul and flooded the whole world with Krishna Consciousness. In your lectures you always emphasized where is book? Where is book? And requested everyone to distribute books. I personally see that so many people live have changed just by reading your books.

Thank you, Srila Prabhupäda, for rescuing me. Every day I feel your loving presence. Thank you for giving me a transcendental engagement in devotional service, for teaching me how to live and how to die.

While celebrating your 123rd appearance day at our IBC I heard your lecture from senior devotees which opened my eyes and soul that how much struggle you have gone through in your life to change life of people and bring them in to KC. It is your greatness and dedication that you went to NY at the advanced stage of 70 years and spread the message of Krishna Consciousness, even though there was so much diversity of Culture.

You have taken so much pain during initial years to spread this moment like travelling across the globe, writing books, cooking for devotees tirelessly at the age of seventy. I see you as a great mahatma having fabulous leadership qualities, love for your disciples and compassion towards all. Please always be my guide as still there is a long way to go. Please forgive all my offenses I have committed over the years. I have no qualification and I don’t deserve all this…but you are an ocean of cause less mercy who is showering your blessing on us all the time.

I humbly request you to always hold my hand not leave my hands in all the upcoming births and always guide me in this difficult and challenging path of Krishna Consciousness as the Journey has started only now and A long way to go birth after Births…

Your mission has given Vision to our lives. I was wondering in the search of glory and pride when suddenly I stumbled upon this Hare Krishna movement. Your teachings taught me the real purpose of my life. Your teachings brought the realization that I was chasing the mirage of this material world which is “dukhalayam ashashwatam”.

Prabhupad without your blessings in the form of Bhakt Sangha, your books, the Ratha Yatra and kirtans, “yasy-aprasadan na gatih Kutoh api” , we would not be able to move an inch towards the absolute realization; the Bhagavan realization.

You showed us the path, a systematic approach for the upliftment of our consciousness. This in the first place made us a better human being. However, we are still in the process of endeavoring to become a devotee. Each day I fall and each day your books pick me up.

You taught the real meaning of Devotional Service which is to serve the lord with love and channelize everything in the service of God and not merely meditate on him and do nothing. You taught compassion when you made the hippies your first disciples. Your books answer all the questions which arise due to our materially contaminated conditions.

Your mission made ISKCON which gave me a family. The unconditional love which I got from this family is a true reflection of your mood which is imbibed in all the devotees. ISKCON is the only community where people yearn to render selfless service simply to contribute to your mission.

I got this opportunity to render my offering, is, in itself a piece of your mercy, as I am certainly not qualified to talk about you amongst the devotees who have been practicing for years together. On the auspicious occasion of your Vyas Puja, I would like to meditate on some of the important messages that you have shown to the whole world by your own personal example. Who could be more merciful than you who has created a house where whole world can live peacefully.

You have always stressed that God is one and the Holy name of the Lord is so powerful that everyone irrespective of their religion, caste, creed and Race can take shelter of this holy name. So there is no conflict or dissimilarity . All can come under single roof of the house that you have built which are blessed by all previous acharyas.

You have always taken the words of your Spiritual master , Srila BhaktiSiddhanta Sarasvati Thakur as your life and soul. Despite having several discomforts you have fulfilled the desire of your spiritual master. The words meditated by you were that when you have received the Crest Jewel of Harinam it has to be distributed far and wide . Just as great Vaishnava Acharya Sri Ramanujacharya who have distributed the Narayana Mantra to all so have you spread the Holy name through out the world. So are your dear disciples taking part in spreading the holy name.

Faith in the holy name is one another important characteristic that you have deep rooted in your heart. In this Kali yuga, you have shown by your own example that Faith in Holy name can cross us easily this material ocean of desires and illusion. You have exemplified that Faith in the holy name stands as a pillar and binds us to the holy name.

You have always said that the holy scriptures could be relished through ears. Reading and Hearing the scriptures like Bhagavad Gita, Srimad Bhagavatam and Chaitanya Charitamrita relieves us from material anxieties. You have always stressed to hear from Vaishnavas acharyas. You have also made it clear that whenever Japa is done, it should be properly heard too. This is the best medicine for ill effects of Kali.

You have always instructed that one should always be in association of devotees. This is like a fencing that guards one from falling down or from getting away from the Bhakti. All your disciples and grand disciples are so enthusiastic that they always hanker to be in association of devotees and provide helping hands and pull others who are dwelling in maya or fallen in to clutches of maya by lack of devotee association.

Pls bless me that I develop a dint of the faith in holy name and I never move away from the association of devotees . I may relish the beautiful pastimes of lord and his devotees through a proper disciplined reading and hearing, thus improving the standards of my Sadhana and Service.

Dear Srila Prabhupada.

All glories to Your Divine Grace.

Currently I am reading your life biography and it is simply wonderful and relishing than Srimad Bhagavatam. Every moment of your life is inspiring.

You had gone through ocean of obstacles and short comings to deliver us from this filthy place.

I feel myself to be fortunate being under your shelter. Your mercy upon me is just causeless because I feel I am not at all qualified to practice devotional life and render some service to Krishna.

You are always very very special and highly inspirational to me because what you gave me is incomparable to any other things I got in my life. There were times I was desperately looking for happiness and searching for it in many ways. Through different yoga systems, going to different spiritual organizations in Bangalore… but nothing gave me contentment as much as conviction and satisfaction I got through your books and your teachings. Your books are simply the words of Krishna. They are the reservoir of Krishna mercy. Just like when sun is present the darkness is dissipated. Similarly the knowledge and teachings you gave are torch light for this blind human society. I cant repay what you gave me but i can only beg you to make me remain in your shelter. When I started reading your books I really felt this is what I have been looking for.

Had you been not come to my life I have no idea how pathetic my life would have been and unimaginable how many lifetimes I have to be in this mire of nescience of material existence. This place is really filthy and no sane man like to live here. 

You have got such wonderful Vaishnava qualities. Your mood is always amazing. Not taking any credit for yourself but always giving it to your disciples or your Gurudev. I am amazed by your humility and saintly conduct. By your mercy if i can draw drop of these qualities , get that mood i consider my devotional life is successful. I am pleading at your lotus feet dear Srila Prabhupad that somehow kindly be merciful to me, make me a good servant of yours and your dear disciple HH Jayapataka Swami Guru Maharaja. 

I don’t think I had ever done any service to you but striving to attempt to do little services to my capacity.

Please forgive me for all the offences I did and kindly help me become a good and sincere servant.
