Our Services
Krishna Life Sessions at Your Doorstep
We bring the wisdom of the Bhagavad-gita directly to your apartment complex or gated community through our Krishna Life sessions. Designed for busy working professionals and families, these weekend programs are conducted at your residential clubhouse or community hall by senior ISKCON devotees.
Each session includes a thought-provoking talk rooted in Vedic scripture, a guided mantra meditation, and devotional bhajans and kirtans. Residents of gated communities like Prestige Shantiniketan, Brigade Metropolis, and Adarsh Palm Retreat have already experienced the calm and clarity these sessions bring. If you would like to host a Krishna Life session at your complex, contact us and we will arrange everything for you.
Bhagavad Gita Courses
Our structured Gita Course and Bhakti Steps program offers a guided journey through the teachings of the Bhagavad-gita for anyone who wants to go beyond surface-level understanding. The curriculum is laid out in a clear, progressive format that makes ancient Vedic wisdom practical and relevant for modern life.
Participants learn how to manage stress, understand the law of karma, discover their deeper purpose, and apply Krishna’s teachings to real-world decisions at home and at work. No prior background in spirituality is required. The course is open to all.
Daily Darshan, Kirtana, and Scriptural Classes
The ISKCON Whitefield Krishna temple is open daily and offers a full schedule of devotional programs for everyone.
Mangala Arati and morning Darshan give you the opportunity to begin your day in the presence of Sri Sri Radha Krishna. Evening Bhagavad-gita lectures are held every day from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM, specifically timed for office-goers who want a meaningful and grounding close to their workday. Bhajans and group Kirtana sessions are held regularly and are open to all, including those who are attending for the first time.
Mantra meditation guidance is available for those who want to begin or deepen a daily Japa practice. Our facilitators introduce the Hare Krishna Maha-mantra in a way that is accessible, non-intimidating, and genuinely transformative.
FOLK Program for Youth
The Friends of Lord Krishna (FOLK) program is our flagship weekend offering for young people. Every week, hundreds of youth gather at the Krishna temple for an engaging evening of spiritual classes, interactive discussions, music, dance, and prasadam.
Experienced faculty who have spent decades in spiritual practice lead sessions on stress management, building concentration, overcoming harmful habits, and applying the Bhagavad-gita’s wisdom to student and professional life. The program is structured, dynamic, and built for young minds that respond to reason and experience rather than ritual alone. The FOLK program also runs under the broader umbrella of our Bhakti Centres network, making it accessible from multiple locations across Eastern Bangalore.
Culture Camp for Kids
Our Culture Camp for Kids brings children into the world of Vedic heritage through yoga, classical dance, Puranic storytelling, bhajans, and Krishna-inspired art. Conducted at the temple and through outreach programs, the camp gives school-going children a joyful and grounding alternative to screen-heavy leisure.
Parents consistently find that children who attend the camp develop stronger values of respect, humility, and compassion, alongside a genuine curiosity about their cultural roots.
Path of Perfection Workshop for Engineering Students
This is a four-session workshop designed specifically for engineering students navigating academic pressure, identity questions, and the demands of competitive environments. Topics include understanding and training the mind, finding a rational basis for spiritual belief, discovering personal purpose, and using Vedic principles to improve focus, relationships, and decision-making.
The workshop format is interactive and discussion-driven, making it well-suited for analytically inclined young people who want practical answers alongside philosophical depth.
Hindu Festival Celebrations
The ISKCON Whitefield Krishna temple is widely known across Eastern Bangalore for its large-scale, joyful festival celebrations. Janmashtami, the birth anniversary of Lord Sri Krishna, draws crowds of over ten thousand attendees annually and is one of the most anticipated community events in the Whitefield area.
We also celebrate Rath Yatra, Ram Navami, Radhashtami, and the sacred fortnightly observance of Ekadashi. Our team coordinates with residential associations and local groups to bring festival events directly to apartment complexes, making these occasions grand, inclusive, and spiritually meaningful for everyone involved.
Sacred Yatras and Pilgrimages
We organise guided spiritual journeys to holy destinations including Vrindavan, Mathura, and Tirupati. Each Yatra is accompanied by senior devotees who provide scriptural context at every site, lead devotional practices, and ensure that the pilgrimage is a genuinely transformative experience rather than a routine tour.
For families and individuals seeking a deep spiritual reset, a guided Yatra is one of the most powerful opportunities we offer.
Prasadam and Sattvic Catering
Prasadam, food first offered to Lord Krishna, is distributed daily at the Krishna temple. It is prepared with pure vegetarian, sattvic ingredients and carries a sanctity that devotees experience as nourishment for both body and spirit.
We also offer professional sattvic catering for private events, corporate functions, religious ceremonies, and community gatherings. All dishes are prepared without onion or garlic, following traditional Vaishnava culinary principles.
Our Food for Life program extends this service of prasadam to underprivileged communities in and around Whitefield, fulfilling Srila Prabhupada’s vision that no one near a Krishna temple should go hungry. You can support this program directly through our donation page.
Go Seva and Cow Protection
Cow protection is a sacred practice in the Vaishnava tradition and forms a vital part of our service at ISKCON Whitefield. Our Go Seva program supports the care and welfare of indigenous cows, and devotees can contribute to this initiative through donations or by purchasing Gomata products available at the temple. Supporting Go Seva is considered among the most spiritually meritorious acts a devotee can perform.
Cause for Life: People, Culture, and the Environment
Our Cause for Life initiative brings together all of ISKCON Whitefield’s social service work under a single mission guided by the Vedic values of Devotion, Simplicity, and Compassion. It covers our Annadana (Food for Life) program, our cultural preservation efforts, and our environmental awareness initiatives, including sustainable living and cow protection.
Cause for Life is a meaningful way for devotees and community members to serve beyond their personal spiritual practice and contribute to something larger.
Devotional Books and Spiritual Items
The ISKCON Whitefield Krishna temple stocks a selection of books authored by Srila Prabhupada, including the Bhagavad-gita As It Is, Srimad Bhagavatam, and Nectar of Devotion. These texts are considered among the most profound spiritual literature available in any language and serve as the foundation for all our courses and programs.
Japa Malas, bead bags, and other devotional items that support home practice are also available at the temple.
