New home for ISKCON Bhakti Center Sarjapur Road
Excitement buzzes through the air as ISKCON Whitefield, Bangalore proudly announces the addition of a new jewel to its crown – a New and Zero Rent Centre nestled in the heart of Sarjapur Road, one of Bangalore’s prime localities. This auspicious inauguration on February 24, 2024, marks a significant milestone in the journey of spreading Krishna Consciousness.
The journey began last year with the inauguration of IBC Sarjapur Road, opposite the esteemed Wipro SEZ in Ambedkar Nagar. Led by the indomitable HG Karthikeya Prabhuji, supported fervently by Krsna Karunamurthy Prabhuji and Yogini Mataji, the center flourished with devotees pouring in from all corners. However, Krishna, the master planner, had a different design in mind.
Enter Chandrashekhar Prabhuji and Anita Mathaji from the Panathur Centre, driven by their unwavering devotion. In a remarkable turn of events, they acquired land in Sarjapur and decided to dedicate an entire floor and kitchen of their new building to Krishna’s cause. Thus, “Gaur Nitai Nilaya” was born – a sanctuary where souls could find solace in Krishna Consciousness, free of any rent burden.

It’s a tale woven with threads of divine intervention and human compassion. The couple’s selfless act echoes the words of Srila Prabhupada – “nothing is impossible” when it comes to serving the Supreme Lord. Surely, Chandrashekhar Prabhuji and Anita Mataji must have accumulated immense spiritual wealth in their past lives to be bestowed with such an honor.
But the narrative doesn’t end there. Meenu Jaitley Mataji emerges as the unsung hero, the creative force behind the elegant interiors that grace all ISKCON Whitefield Centers. Her divine touch transforms spaces into sanctuaries, all while managing costs with remarkable finesse.

Heartfelt thanks and a Big Hari Bol to Chandrashekhar Prabhuji and Anita Mataji
