Offering by Kartikeya Das
Prabhupada, on this auspicious day, I humbly attempt to offer my heartfelt gratitude at your lotus feet for everything you have done for us.
You are my savior. In the initial days of my journey in Krishna consciousness, what inspired me most was your personality. When I first heard about your immense struggles to establish this glorious mission, I resolved that I too must do something substantial for your pleasure. Just yesterday, on Janmastami, a devotee casually said, “Prabhu, you could also contribute something for temple construction.” Without thinking, I spontaneously replied, “I have already contributed my entire life for this mission.” Truly, the fact that a fallen soul like me can dedicate his life to your service is only possible by your causeless mercy and inspiration. I remain eternally grateful to you for allowing me the privilege of rendering full-time devotional service under your shelter.
This Vyasa-puja, I especially wish to meditate on one of your glorious qualities—your unwavering nishtha toward the parampara. Everything you did—whether writing, speaking, or acting—was only to please the entire disciplic succession. Through your activities, you revealed and presented the pure mood of our Gaudiya parampara to the whole world.
Your Writings: The more we study your Bhaktivedanta purports, the more we realize your complete chastity to the teachings of the parampara. You presented the essence of Krishna consciousness as it is in a way that even ordinary, illiterate people like us can grasp. You often said that your only credit was that you had not diluted Krishna’s message—you simply presented what you received from the parampara. You crushed the grains of transcendental knowledge given by our Parampara acharyas which are not very easy to understand into fine powder so that toddlers like us in Krishna consciousness could digest it.
Recently, I was working on writing a book. During both the writing and editing stages, I was repeatedly overwhelmed thinking of how, in the early days, you single-handedly wrote, edited, proofread, and even personally distributed your books. This service is not easy. I realized that perhaps the hardest part of writing is to remain faithful to the teachings of the parampara and not allow one’s contaminated thoughts to creep in. In your case, the power of presenting the message “as it is” is fully evident: countless lives have been transformed, and thousands have dedicated their very existence to Krishna, simply by reading your books. All glories to your lotus feet!
Your Speaking: With the mood of our glorious parampara deeply imbibed, you fearlessly spoke against Mayavada and atheistic science. You proclaimed again and again that Krishna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead and that our duty is to serve Him alone as our worshipable Lord. It is astonishing to hear in your lectures of 30 or 40 minutes how many times you would lovingly repeat, “Krishna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead.” You constantly emphasized the importance of the Bhagavad-gita, Srimad-Bhagavatam, and Caitanya-caritamrita, always urging us to take shelter of Pancha-tattva, with love of Godhead as life’s ultimate goal. Like your own spiritual master, Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura, you roared like a lion, never tolerating anything that undermined the position of Bhagavan, bhakti, or the bhakta.
Your Actions: Throughout your life, every activity was dedicated solely to pleasing the parampara. Whether it was building temples, writing and distributing books, or training devotees, everything you did was to satisfy the previous acharyas. In each of your actions, one can clearly see your unshakable faith in the teachings of the parampara. Without such faith, who else could have dared to cross the ocean at the age of seventy, with practically no support, and establish a worldwide movement that continues to expand even today?
This nishtha of yours toward the parampara has been a subject of my contemplation for the last few months. Therefore, while writing my book, in the very first chapter I attempted to present how you rendered this glorious service to the entire parampara—by transmitting their message exactly as it is, giving maximum clarity of the Gaudiya Vaishnava philosophy to the people of this age.
Your writings, speech, and actions have inspired me—and continue to inspire me—to become a chaste dog of this glorious parampara. Personally, when I contemplate the true perfection of human life—attaining Krishna-prema in this very lifetime—I feel very low, realizing my fallen condition. It has become clear to me that there is no possibility of reaching the lotus feet of Lord Krishna by my own endeavor. My only hope is your causeless mercy, for you are the representative of the entire parampara.
On this auspicious day, I beg you to kindly empower me with your quality of being perfectly chaste to the parampara—in thought, word, and deed. Please bless me to remain your loyal servant throughout my life. If you are at all pleased with any of the insignificant services I am attempting to render for your pleasure, I beg you to kindly grant me the priceless treasure of naam-ruchi. And please forgive me for all the offenses I have committed at your lotus feet while trying to serve. Your mercy is my only hope.
Your aspiring servant,
Kartikeya Das

Dear Śrīla Prabhupāda,
Please accept my humble obeisances at your divine lotus feet. All glories to you, who are the greatest well-wisher of humanity. All glories to your tireless service to Śrī Śrī Rādhā-Kṛṣṇa and to your beloved spiritual master, Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura.
Out of pure obedience to your guru’s instruction, you crossed the ocean in your advanced age, without any support or certainty of success, and established the eternal teachings of Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa in lands where even His name was unknown. What scholars and saints could not accomplish in centuries, you achieved in a mere twelve years — translating and commenting upon the most confidential Vedic scriptures, including Bhagavad-gītā, Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, and Caitanya-caritāmṛta — giving the world the very essence of the Vedas in a language and format they could understand.
It is inconceivable how you authored over 70 transcendental books in such a short span, while simultaneously traveling the world, establishing more than 100 temples, initiating thousands of disciples, and transforming hippies into sincere Vaiṣṇavas. Your lectures, rich in śāstric depth and divine realization, reveal your intimate connection with the Lord. When I hear you recite and explain Sanskrit verses with such clarity and gravity, it makes me realize how little I know, and how far I must go.
In this age where building even a modest home is a challenge, you constructed spiritual palaces for the Supreme Lord across the globe — temples that continue to nourish millions of souls. Your unmatched dedication, compassion, and divine vision are living proof of the Lord’s mercy manifest through a pure devotee.
Śrīla Prabhupāda, I am trying, in my limited and unqualified way, to serve this glorious mission you have established.
Yet, I fully recognize that all these are mere drops in the ocean compared to the monumental spiritual foundation you have built. You have given us everything — philosophy, practice, temples, deities, literature, community — and most importantly, hope.
My humble prayer at your lotus feet is: please bless me with the guidance of a genuine spiritual master who can help me walk the path you have shown. I know I am unworthy, but if you recommend me to Kṛṣṇa, even a fallen soul like me may receive His mercy.
Please forgive any offenses or mistakes in this offering. I beg you to keep me in your shelter always and guide me in every step of my spiritual life.
Your insignificant servant,
Mrudula Ravindran

Dear Srila Prabhupada
Please accept my humble obeisances at your divine lotus feet.
All glories to Sri Guru and Gauranga
On this most auspicious day of your Vyas Puja, I bow down with gratitude for the unlimited mercy you have showered upon the world. Out of compassion, you accepted the order of your spiritual master and crossed the ocean at an advanced age, saving us from material bondage. I pray that one day we may please you with the best of our capacity.
By reading Prabhupada lilamrit we come to know of your many struggles, but I felt especially moved reading about your efforts to establish and stabilize the League of Devotees. Even though those attempts did not succeed externally, your determination and enthusiasm never diminished. This is the true quality of a pure devotee.
Recently, while reading an old Back to Godhead magazine connected with the ISKCON Chippiwara temple, I was deeply struck by the austerities you endured in that tiny, narrow lane, with practically no facilities, while still working tirelessly to establish the Back to Godhead office. Later we heard from HH Gopal Krishna Goswami Maharaj that when the Chippiwara temple was acquired, many devotees were present, but during your time, there was not even a single person to offer you a glass of water. But our condition is so bad that we even having so much facilities we don’t take it seriously.
Srila Prabhupada, I am unqualified and often distracted by the material energy, but your struggle for establishing for this Organisation pulling us back to the shelter of devotional service. Please give me the strength to chant sincerely and serve Guru and Gauranga.

Dear Srila Prabhupada, all glories you on your appearance day.
Please accept my most respectful and humble obeisances.
Dear Srila Prabhupada, the past year was filled with devotional association, fortunate services, and blissful moments in bhakti. We had a grand Janmashtami celebration at our small ISKCON Bhakti center in Kannamangala, attended by more than 10,000 people.
I had the good fortune of serving as the Promotion and Publicity Manager. We reached out to various apartment societies, markets, and towns, distributing over 50,000 leaflets inviting people to the Sri Krishna Janmashtami festival. This year, we are planning an even bigger event for 2025, targeting 15,000 attendees. Preparations have already begun, and we will launch our campaign in a week’s time.
Dear Srila Prabhupada, I feel so fortunate to receive this undeserved mercy from you and your disciples, who picked me up from the midst of my anarthas. Even after eight years of following the processes you prescribed, I constantly wonder how I could possibly deserve such great fortune, having done nothing to earn it. Every time I feel this way, I thank you, I thank my Guru Maharaj, and I thank the Vaishnavas in ISKCON. From the depths of my heart, I thank Sri Sri Gandharvika and Giridhari.
This year, we had the Guru Agna program in Madurai, where your dear disciple and my spiritual master, His Holiness Jayapataka Swami Maharaj, blessed us for two days. Despite his ill health, he traveled and expended so much energy to be with us and address us on both days.
Besides the excellent facilities you have provided for us to practice bhakti according to the prescribed processes, the foremost fortune you have left for your grandchildren is the instruction to your senior disciples to take up the great responsibility of becoming spiritual masters. Even though you have left your body, your soldiers are carrying on the Guru Parampara in every way you could have imagined. They are being merciful enough to accept sinful people like us, along with all our anarthas, and are taking the responsibility to take us back to Godhead along with them. Their incredible compassion and mercy inspire people like me to take inspiration from the way they are struggling hard to deliver us, and to feel inspired to render service to Krishna through them in any way possible.
Along with my services here in ISKCON Whitefield, Bengaluru, I am also getting the good fortune of assisting the Vaishnavas in my hometown, Hamirpur in Himachal Pradesh. These senior Vaishnavas are trying to preach there, following the instructions of His Holiness Bhakti Ashray Vaishnav Maharaj. Seeing the level of tapasya they are performing with very limited resources, I feel humbled. It makes me think of all the hardships you must have gone through to establish temples across the world, in places where people knew nothing about Krishna.
Prabhupada, as a true servant of your spiritual master, you continue to bless fallen souls like me and make arrangements so that I can become serious in my sadhana and service, and thus make advancement on the path of bhakti. Your books are my permanent companion. When I read them, I can feel your presence and become so immersed that I don’t want to do anything else. Currently, I am reading the 11th Canto of the Srimad Bhagavatam, and once I finish it, I pray to Krishna and seek blessings to start reading Sri Chaitanya Charitamrita.
Because of you, my entire family has started progressing in Krishna consciousness. My wife, my sister, and my sister’s husband have all taken initiation from His Holiness Jayapataka Swami Maharaj, and my little daughter is also making some progress.
On this auspicious occasion of your Vyasa Puja, I want to reaffirm my commitment to follow the path you prescribed. I beg for your blessings so that I can be sincere, serious, and firm in my sadhana and services. I pray to continue serving ISKCON in whatever capacity I can, as your insignificant servant.
Eternally grateful to you,
Your most fallen aspiring servant,

Dear Srila Prabhupada, all glories to your lotus feet.
Please accept my most humble obeisances on the auspicious occasion of your appearance day.

Dear Srila Prabhupada, I am filled with the utmost gratitude for the great fortune you have left for us through your extraordinary hard work, dedication, and full faith in Krishna while serving your spiritual master. You are the true manifestation of the Guru Parampara, setting an example of how this significant human life can be utilized to serve the spiritual master and spread the glory of harinaam to the fallen souls suffering in this short-lived life in Kali-yuga.
This year, we had the good fortune of attending the Guru Agna event in Madurai, hosted by my spiritual master and your beloved disciple, His Holiness Jayapataka Swami Maharaj. He mentioned in one of his classes that you had instructed him to read the Bhagavad Gita As It Is ten times before seeking initiation. Although we received our initiation without such severe tapasya, I felt so inspired that I started reading the Bhagavad Gita As It Is again, fresh from the beginning.
I have the good fortune of serving the Vaishnavas at the ISKCON Bhakti Center in Kannamangala (part of ISKCON Whitefield, Bengaluru). I offer my services in the form of “calling seva,” wherein a team of us calls all the attendees of the Gita course classes.
We have started preparations for Sri Krishna Janmashtami 2025 with great enthusiasm. With Krishna’s mercy, I will once again have the good fortune of handling donations with my team, just like every year. Also, on July 5th, we are conducting the Ulta Rath Yatra for Jagannath, Baladev, and Subhadra in our locality, and we are enthusiastically looking forward to this great event and making preparations.
I feel so blessed with the unconditional mercy that my family is slowly progressing in Krishna consciousness. My husband, my husband’s sister, and her husband have all taken initiation in the last few years from His Holiness Jayapataka Swami Maharaj, and we are all relishing this good fortune of blessings from the disciplic succession of the Gaudiya Vaishnava Parampara.
You have made every possible facility available for us—in terms of devotee association, your books, dhaam yatras, and various temples everywhere. I feel obliged to get serious in my sadhana and seva when I look at the kind of struggles you endured, and the struggles your disciples are now enduring by taking up the most important service of becoming spiritual masters.
On this most auspicious occasion of your appearance day, I want to beg for your blessings to continue following your path and acting on your instructions. I pray to keep Krishna at the center of my life and make progress with all my heart. I beg for your blessings so that I can chant Hari Naam with a pure heart, serve the Vaishnavas in ISKCON, and continue my humble services toward your lotus feet in whatever capacity I can, as your menial servant.
Always indebted and grateful to you,
Your aspiring servant,

Dear Srila Prabhupada,
Please accept my respectful obeisances. All glories to you and Sri Sri Gaura Nitai.
Just like a dwarf trying to catch the moon, I desire to receive your mercy by describing your glories on your auspicious 129th appearance day.
Your Divine Grace is the preeminent siksha-guru of all devotees in ISKCON.
Prahlada Maharaj said “O best of the great personalities, I am not at all afraid of material existence, for wherever I stay I am fully absorbed in thoughts of Your glories and activities. My concern is only for the fools and rascals who are making elaborate plans for material happiness and maintaining their families, societies and countries. I am simply concerned with love for them.”
By your mercy, let me realize that You descended in this world out of your unlimited compassion on the fallen souls of Kali-Yuga who are simply concerned with decoration of a dead body. On 13th Aug 1965, Your Divine Grace started for the west on the order of your spiritual master Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura – to preach the divine message of Lord Chaitanya – to deliver the whole world from the atheistic doctrines of mayavada & sunyavada.
When one disciple asked, “What would happen to all of us after you leave?”. You practically replied aloud, “You will all become hippies again… if you don’t go on preaching for the rest of your life!”
Prahlada Maharaj said, “One who has dedicated his life to the service of Kṛṣṇa through nine methods should be understood to be the most learned person, for he has acquired complete knowledge.”
Srila Prabhupada! By your causeless mercy you bestowed on all of us the hidden treasure of love ‘kevala bhakti or nija bhakti yoga’ taught by Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu in a practical way. You delivered 1200 hours of lectures, morning walks & room conversations and 80 volumes of books – translated into 87 languages across the whole world. Your Divine Grace established more than 108 ISKCON temples. In your purport you mentioned “Lord Krsna expands into unlimited forms, similarly the arca-vigraha is also an expansion. The arca-vigraha of the Lord descends at the request of the acaryas and works exactly in the original way of the Lord by virtue of the Lord’s omnipotence.” In this way, you offered sublime opportunity to engage in the nine processes of bhakti for the whole world.
Srila Prabhupada! You never took any credit for all such humanly impossible achievements and always stayed humble saying “Practically there is no credit for me, if there is any credit it goes to my spiritual master, Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Thakur Goswami Prabhupada, who is helping me by sending so many good souls like you in this movement. Whatever is being done, it is due to His Divine Grace only. So my business is just to carry out His order” (Srila Prabhupada Letter, March 26, 1969)
For your pleasure, ISKCON Bhakti Center Panathur devotees have registered total of 245 Gita Course participants including congregation & youth forum. Please shower your blessings unto all devotees who tirelessly & selflessly, directly & indirectly served in preaching stall seva on Janmastami 2025.
You have always excused all the mistakes and never rejected any devotee – exhibiting the same quality of the Supreme Lord Ramachandra who said “If one surrenders unto Me sincerely, saying, ‘My Lord, from this day I am fully surrendered unto You,’ I always give him protection. That is My vow.” Kindly accept this fallen conditioned soul in your service and May I develop unflinching faith in your final instructions:
Whether I am present or not present doesn’t matter. I will always be with you through my books and my orders.
Srila Prabhupada! By the mercy of senior devotees, I have been given the responsibility to serve as Circle-Servant Leader in ISKCON Whitefield, Panathur Bhakti Center. I earnestly pray at your lotus feet for developing taste in chanting min 16 rounds, hearing your lectures, reading Srimad Bhagavatam every day and increase my capacity to serve all devotees – under the sheltered guidance of HG Krsna Karunamurti Prabhuji & HG Kartikeya Prabhuji.

Dear Srila Prabhupada
Please accept my respectful obeisance
All glories to you.
On the Vyas Puja Offering I am so fortunate to share my deep gratitude for you.
You have been an extraordinary personality and a Senapathi Bhakta of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu.
You are very humble, kind and gave love to all living beings.
You have sacrificed all your comfort to work for the good of others.
You have taught spiritual science, philosophy, the vedic way of life and many more things to the entire world.
You have taught us that a Vaiṣṇava should be kind and compassionate. A vaisnava can actually do the beneficial work to the human being, Lokānāṁ hita-kāriṇau.
You have emphasised that, we are meant for serving Krsna and as the servant is being supplied all the necessities by the master, but the servant’s duty is to serve the master. Thus, you stated the secret to live a happy life hṛṣīkeṇa hṛṣīkeśa-sevanam (CC Madhya 19.170). We should try to engage our senses for the service of the master of the senses Krsna then we will be happy. Kṛṣṇa says in (BG 5.29), I am the only enjoyer and if we supply ingredients for His enjoyment, that is our perfection of life.
bhoktāraṁ yajña-tapasāṁ
sarva-loka-maheśvaram
suhṛdaṁ sarva-bhūtānāṁ
jñātvā māṁ śāntim ṛcchati
You have said that in order to get relief from transmigrating to different species of life we should stop misusing our senses and utilize it in Krsna’s service and surrender unto Him. By misusing our senses we are being entrapped in different types of body, therefore to get relief from this tedious transmigration to different bodies we have to give up this process of sense gratification and surrender unto Krsna, as Krsna Says in BG – sarva-dharmān parityajya mām ekaṁ śaraṇaṁ (BG 18.66)
You have told us that we should not think that: “Because I have become a devotee, there will be no danger, no suffering but we should not be disturbed by those sufferings. Even there is danger, even there is suffering in Kṛṣṇa consciousness, we should tolerate. We must have firm faith, firm conviction that: “Kṛṣṇa is there. He’ll give me protection.” As Kṛṣṇa says: kaunteya pratijānīhi na me bhaktaḥ praṇaśyati.(BG 9.31). “My dear Arjuna, you can declare it to the public that My devotees are never vanquished.”
As we know that all our senses are imperfect. We are not perfect, we commit mistakes, we are illusioned and we have a cheating propensity.
Srila Prabhupada, with anarthas in me, I believe you are so merciful and kind and are always present and encourage during hard time of preaching, Book Distribution and sevas.
As I have been given the seva of Bhakti Vriksha servant leader. I know I have no such qualification hence I pray to you during each and every BV session to empower me to convey the message as it is and the participants get the message as it is conveyed by you and that they enjoy this journey of Krsna Consciousness. Also it is through your mercy that I am able to take the BV sessions. Please forgive me for any offences.
Our Heart felt prayers unto your Lotus feet. Kindly keep us guided and shower your mercy so that we can continue our sadhana diligently and be in the Krsna Consciousness path forever.
Kindly Shower your abundant mercy to our Mentor and Bless all our BV members and their families to stay healthy and progress well in Krsna Consciousness.

As we.heard in the today’s class , You are trying to make us human being. You have taken so much pain to travel all over the world for that. you toiled day and night to write the divine books which are still helping so many souls to become a human being. Dear Srila Prabhupada,
Please accept my humble obeisances. I offer my heartfelt gratitude for the transcendental gift of Krishna consciousness through your divine books and teachings. Your mercy in establishing the disciplic succession and providing the association of devotees has been a blessing.
This year, I attempted to serve in a humble dasa-anudasa mood, supporting devotees in various services such as yatra, Bhakti Vriksha, temple activities, Book Distribution, Janmashtami, and other festivals. Despite my struggles with lust, anger, and greed, I pray for your mercy to continue my humble attempts to serve and please my spiritual authorities.
My only hope lies in taking shelter of your divine guidance through ISKCON, your books, and teachings. I am trying to do Bhakti Sastri under my constraints of time.May I remain dedicated to performing my devotional duties till the end of my life, proving myself worthy of your mercy.
I offer my heartfelt apologies if, in my attempts to serve, I have inadvertently caused any offense to your dear disciples or devotees. My only intention is to serve in a spirit of cooperation, humility, and devotion.
May your divine mercy guide me in my service, and may I continue to contribute in harmony with the devotees, bringing joy and spiritual growth to all.

Dearest Srila Prabhupada,
Please accept my most humble obeisances at your divine lotus feet. All glories to you, the eternal servant of Sri Sri Radha and Krishna.
I bow down in gratitude for the most wonderful gift you have bestowed upon the world—the International Society for Krishna Consciousness. Through your tireless compassion and determination, you have given us not only the teachings of Lord Caitanya and the Bhakti tradition but also the loving association of devotees, who are like a boat carrying us safely across this vast and dangerous ocean of material existence.
Though I am unqualified and still struggling with my anarthas, your movement gives me the hope that by staying connected to this spiritual culture, I too may purify my heart and someday become a worthy servant of Krishna. In this age of Kali, full of darkness and degradation, your vision of reviving sanatana dharma and bringing spiritual culture into people’s lives is the only ray of light.
You have given us:
The holy names, the greatest treasure and shelter for the soul.
The spiritual family of devotees, whose association uplifts and sustains us.
Your books, which act as guiding lamps, removing ignorance and illuminating the eternal truths.
The temple, prasadam, and festivals, which make spiritual life practical and joyful.
The example of your own life, which shows how complete surrender to Krishna transforms impossibilities into reality.
Srila Prabhupada, I know I cannot repay my debt to you. Still, I beg for your mercy to continue in this movement with sincerity and determination. Please bless me that I may overcome my weaknesses, remain humble, and contribute in some small way to your mission of spreading Krishna consciousness to every town and village.

Dear Srila Prabhapada,
Kindly accept my humble obeisance’s at your lotus feet
All glories, all glories, all glories to you
On this auspicious day of Vyasa puja, I feel blessed and inspired to pen my offering to you at your lotus feet. You shared the timeless wisdom of Krsna consciousness to fallen souls like us in this material world. You inspired devotees to chant the holy names of the Lord, read scriptures, lead a simple life accompanied with high thinking, serve the deities as well as devotees and realize the ultimate goal of life that is to go back to our original father who is Lord Krsna. You established temples, Vedic educational institutions and largest vegetarian food relief program. You ignited the desire to nourish the roots of Krsna consciousness “Yadi Prabhupada na hoito tabe ki hoito” How could we have passed our lives without you?
We are always amazed at how significant was your contribution in writing books. You single handedly wrote books which present the timeless philosophy of Krsna consciousness in English. The simple words give clarity of Vedic scriptures relevant to our modern world and our current fast paced life. Millions of hearts have been transformed through your books. The transcendental knowledge forms the foundation of Krsna consciousness. You encouraged printing of books and distributing them so that the philosophy reaches each and every soul and helps them to realize the goal of this human birth.
Your teachings inspire me to practice bhakti every single day as I don’t have devotion nor knowledge. I am grateful to you for directing me through the intricacies of Krsna consciousness which will further guide me to serve Guru and Gauranga in a better way. Kindly bless me to chant the holy names attentively, sincerely and without any offenses. Kindly bestow your grace on me so that I can serve Lord Krsna and his devotees in a humble way. Kindly give your mercy unto me so that I can also contribute to the mission in a humble way.
Your eternal and humble servant

My dear Srila Prabhupad,
Please accept our humble respectful obeisances.
Though unqualified, we are trying to glorify you at least once in a year for our purification, which will give you pleasure. Just like a fish cannot understand the length and depth of the ocean, so also we are speaking of your unlimited transcendental abilities with our limited spiritual experience. Kindly excuse us. 🙏🙏
Where to start and how to present all that we have received from you always remains an unsatisfied task for us all. But here we are only offering our few recent realizations.
You showed us who Krishna is. You spread the scriptures in the English language. You gave us the essence of our human lives. If not for you, in this world we would have lived like cats and dogs only. You taught us how to celebrate Krishna through Krishna consciousness. You taught the entire world—so fallen in the age of Kali—how to simply go back to Godhead by singing, dancing, and feasting.
We do one Janmashtami and end up burnt in the fire of different services. You opened 108 temples, and how many Janmashtamis you celebrated through your disciples—simply tolerating and constantly guiding us! Other huge festivals like Jagannath Rathyatra, Gaura Purnima, and many others continue all through the year in temples and centers around the globe. We simply see that our spiritual endeavors are successful only by your mercy. All these are humanly impossible activities!
You taught us how to prepare our consciousness for old age, starting from when we are young. You had to leave Vrindavan and go to the West for that mission. At the age when one would usually enjoy with grandchildren at home and peacefully absorb in Krishna, you chose instead to fight for our rescue. You endured two heart attacks and repeated health challenges during your preaching activities in the West. All these difficulties were known to you, yet you never gave up saving us. How can we ever repay you enough?
When we had to stay in our native place for about a month amidst materialists, we observed that at ripe old age, people pass time pursuing higher degrees, learning dances, or discussing how to increase wealth—none of which are eternal assets to take with us. Though everyone knows this fact, they still cannot live otherwise. But you gave us a different consciousness by opening ISKCON centers, where devotees come together to serve the Lord and His devotees, guided by seniors, gurus, and acharyas. Without this godly association, we too would have been one among them, discussing mundane affairs. What a life saver this ISKCON movement of yours is! How can we ever forget you, oh Srila Prabhupad?
You would say that purity is the force. Yes, Srila Prabhupad, however much desire we have to serve in ISKCON preaching activities, we feel it doesn’t happen by our material intelligence or talents, but only by spiritual purity. We realize this while serving in Janmashtami and other preaching engagements.
Finally, we simply wish to present our desires before you for your blessings—that we may serve you more and more and more. But our vices are hindrances. We beg you to remove them and give us the strength to bear all the inconveniences we must face in this purification process.
Please accept our humble obeisances.

Dear Srila Prabhupada,
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to you on this most auspicious day of your Vyasa Puja. 🌸
When I look back at my past and reflect on where I was before coming to Krishna consciousness, I am filled with gratitude to you. My life has completely transformed only because of your compassion. Had you not taken the trouble of leaving Vrindavan to preach in the West, none of us would have had this priceless opportunity. Many may take to spiritual life, but very few have the compassion to not just practice but also preach this message to anyone and everyone. Yesterday, during Janmashtami, despite the long weekend and heavy rains, the pandal was full — only by your causeless mercy.
The books you translated, sacrificing your personal comfort, carry an unmatched potency. Recently, I was reading some of your letters and saw how eager you were to have mass book distribution, especially in India. You were convinced that simply by reading your books, all bogus gurus and philosophies would be defeated. After reading them, I can realize their immense power. For newcomers, your books give clarity about spiritual life. For those practicing for some time, they reveal deeper and deeper truths. Even your exalted disciples continue to relish them daily. For me, your books are my nourishment — they fill me with enthusiasm to serve. Whenever I feel weak in Krishna consciousness, I realize it is because I have neglected reading your books.
I was also struck by how you personally managed so many centers and thousands of devotees worldwide through your letters. You were so careful and concerned about each devotee, even if someone left for some reason, you wanted them to be cared for and brought back into association. For us, even managing a few people is challenging, but you practically managed the whole world singlehandedly.
Your preaching mood was so bold and expansive. You mentioned that even one serious and sincere devotee is enough to manage a center, and you always encouraged expansion. Whenever devotees informed you about a new center, you were overjoyed and inspired them to expand further.
On this auspicious day of your Vyasa Puja, I beg for your causeless mercy. Please bless me with the strength to continue serving with greater enthusiasm and vigor. Please always keep me engaged in service at your lotus feet.
Your servant,
Vaibhav Krishna Das

Dear Śrīla Prabhupāda,
Please accept my humble obeisances at your lotus feet. All glories to you on this most auspicious day of your divine appearance in this world.
You have shown us that real strength comes from purity. In a world full of material desires and selfishness, you stood strong with complete purity of heart. And with that purity, you carried the message of Lord Kṛṣṇa all over the world. With your powerful and clear teachings, you inspired thousands of people in the West, who had never even heard of Kṛṣṇa before. Within just a few short years, you opened so many temples across the world. This is not something ordinary. It is clear proof of how pure you are and how dear you are to Kṛṣṇa.
You are truly the example of the bhajan “Ohe Vaiṣṇava Ṭhākura, doyāra sāgara”—an ocean of mercy. Out of mercy, you gave up all personal comfort. You traveled alone, at such an advanced age, to a foreign land, not knowing anyone, not knowing whether people would listen to you or not.
When you crossed the ocean on the Jaladuta, you suffered two severe heart attacks. At that point, most people would have turned back. But you did not. Instead, you prayed to Kṛṣṇa, saying, “My dear Lord, I am just a puppet in Your hands. Please make me dance, make me dance as You like.” That prayer shows your complete humility and surrender. Because of that surrender, Kṛṣṇa empowered you to change the lives of millions.
Out of kindness, you wrote book after book, day and night, without stopping. You wanted to give us the knowledge we need to understand the real purpose of life. Through your books, you made Lord Kṛṣṇa directly accessible to all of us. You also made the rules of spiritual life very simple—only the most important ones—so that even in this difficult age, even for fallen souls, there is a chance to practice bhakti and make progress.
The more I spend time in Kṛṣṇa consciousness, the more I realize how you are personally present in every step of this movement. Your instructions are not just words written on paper; they are living guidance. Your example is not just history; it is a light that still shines today. Even now, when we try to serve in this mission, we can clearly feel your presence guiding us and blessing us. This movement is growing and flourishing only because of you.
On this most auspicious day of your divine appearance, I want to offer my humble prayer:
– Please give me the strength to follow your divine instructions with faith and determination.
– Please bless me so I can follow in your footsteps and mold my life according to the example you so kindly set.
– Please give us the capacity to work together in unity and cooperation, despite the many challenges and difficulties of this age of Kali-yuga.
On this sacred Vyāsa-pūjā day, I also pray to always remain your servant. Please protect me from anarthas, from laziness, from the desire for material enjoyment, and from the desire for honor, wealth, and fame. Please keep me free from pride and selfishness, and please always keep me at your lotus feet.
Śrīla Prabhupāda, without you, there would be no hope for me. Whatever little devotion I have is only because of you. My only desire is to serve you life after life and to never forget your mercy.
Your aspiring servant,

Dear Srila Prabhupada,
Please accept our respectable obeisance’s at your divine lotus feet on the occasion of your 129th Vyasa puja celebrations.
We have been able to begin learning the Bhagavad-gītā easily and effectively only because of your “Bhagavad-gītā As It Is” and the association of your sincere devotees. You are always our role model in performing any service in ISKCON. By your mercy and under the guidance of our mentors HG Karthikeya prj and HG Krsna Gokulesa prj, we have taken up Bhakti Vṛukṣha service this year. We humbly seek your blessings so that we may preach effectively by faithfully following your lectures and books.
Before coming to ISKCON, we did not know anything about proper Deity worship, Bhoga offering and Hare Krishna maha mantra chanting. By your mercy, Srila Prabhupada, and through the standards you have set, we have now learning how to worship the Lord in the right way with love and devotion under the guidance of our mentors.
You have given us everything required to advance in our spiritual journey, yet we are still unable to develop deep taste for chanting and proper seriousness in our daily sadhana. We beg you to kindly shower your causeless mercy upon us, so that our daily chanting and sadhana become steady and improve.
Please bless these most fallen souls and empower us to serve as your instruments in your preaching mission, always remaining under your shelter.

My dear Srila Prabhupada,
Please accept my humble obeisances at your divine lotus feet!
On this special day of your Vyasa Puja, this is a small attempt to offer gratitude towards you Prabhupada.
I am just an insignificant servant whose only hope is your boundless compassion and mercy upon me. Thank you for choosing me to become your disciple and giving me a chance to chant the holy names.
It is by your mercy Prabhupada that I have got some meaning to this life now. It is now that I truly realise how divine you are my spiritual master. You are so transcendental that I can feel your energy as I can feel your constant voice in my head trying to stop me from straying away. There can never be a greater preacher than you Srila Prabhhupada. You managed to preach in such difficult situations which we cannot even comprehend and here we struggle to preach even in the most favourable situations.
It is by your mercy Prabhupada that a fallen soul like me is a part of this glorious parampara. It is by your mercy that I have got involved in some sevas for your pleasure. It is by your mercy Prabhupada that I got the most glorious seva of serving Gaura Nitai. It is by your mercy Prabhupada that our members are progressing nicely on this path. It is by your mercy Prabhupada that we are gradually becoming a strong family of devotees. It is by your mercy that we could manage to celebrate such a grand Janmashtami successfully.
It happens so often with me these days, when I feel completely overwhelmed by everything around me, that just the thought of you, Srila Prabhupada, brings me calm. Knowing that whatever is happening is just so I can somehow play a tiny role in fulfilling your mission is my only hope. I know it is your constant reciprocation and mercy that uplifts me and steadies my heart. I realise now, that whatever little services I am able to do, is not for others, it is just because you want my purification. For this, I am endlessly grateful, Srila Prabhupada.
I am trying Prabhupada to become worthy of all this mercy. I know you have laid every bit of instruction on how to lead this life, how to keep Krishna at the center, how to do my services. But I struggle with it Prabhupada to fight my inner demons and become a good disciple.
You listen to me and that reciprocation I get from you multiple times is the most reassuring factor in my life right now. You take care of not just my spiritual journey but also my material life. It is like you not just ask me “what is the difficulty,” you also take care of the difficulty.
Please bless me so that I never give up my faith, or my love for you, nor the hope that someday I may become a worthy disciple. I pray to you to keep guiding and motivating me and that I continue to hear your voice chastising me to follow your instructions. Without the light that you are showing to me in multiple ways, I will not be able to cross this ocean and walk this path. Please Prabhupada, never give up on me 🙏

Dear Srila Prabhupada,
Please accept my most humble and respectful obeisances unto the dust of your lotus feet.
All glories to your Divine Grace!
Dear Srila Prabhupada, on this most auspicious and holy occasion of your Vyasa Puja day, would like to offer my deep gratitude and prayers at your lotus feet.
We cannot imagine our lives without ISKCON which we have received due to your mercy. Whatever little service, bhakti that I am doing is all due to your causeless mercy.
You took all the pain and underwent innumerable struggles so you could help a fallen soul like me.
Dear Srila Prabhupada, due to your compassion my life has turned from hopelessness to hopeful, from aimless to purposeful and from uncultured to cultured and from despondency to happiness!!
I am eternally indebted to you and I doubt I can ever repay this debt. But yes all I can do is surrender this life for your mission and make every effort to help all the devotees who are sincerely trying to push this mission forward with a pure intent.
Dear Srila Prabhupada, recently by the kind mercy of HH Gopal Krishna Goswami Maharaj and HH Bhakti Dhira Damodara Swami Maharaj, I received my second initiation at Sri Vrndavana Dham. Begging for your mercy and blessings so I am able to follow all the instructions sincerely and develop qualities of a true brahmana and preach more intensely.
In the past 2 yrs by your mercy and by the mercy and blessings of my spiritual masters, we distributed close to 10 Srimad Bhagavatam sets, around 200 copies of Bhagavad Gita As it is and conducted close to 40 house programs in cities like Jaipur, Pune, Mumbai and Bangalore.
By your kind mercy, my parents from this year, have taken shelter of HH Bhakti Dhira Damodara Swami Maharaj and are aspiring to take initiation from Maharaj. Please keep guiding them and blessing them so they remain fixed up in their devotional service and do not get deviated.
By your mercy all our Bhakti Vriksha members are sincerely trying their best to remain Krishna conscious and are helping us in many services.
Today (18th August, 2025) marks the auspicious beginning of our temple construction work at Whitefield. We request your kind blessings so very soon a beautiful temple manifests and will be a hub of our Bangalore preaching.
Please bless us so we can serve you by working cooperatively to increase the preaching and bring in more conditioned souls to the lotus feet of Lord Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu.
Thank you for everything.
