Steps to participate

  • We can see that you are very excited to invite Krishna home. That day is not too far away.
  • Krishna will visit your home either on 11th or 12th of Aug. Janmashtami tithi is there on both the days, so it is equally auspicious.
  • The exact date and time of Krishna visit to your home will be communicated by our volunteers atleast a day before the visit.
  • If you have not yet registered. Register Now (Limited registrations only)
  • Will there be any charges? No absolutely free!!

What should i do when Krishna comes home?

  • After registration, we will schedule the visit of Krishna to your home on a first come first serve basis
  • Krishna will visit your home either on 11th or 12th of Aug. Janmashtami tithi is there on both the days, so it is equally auspicious.
  • The exact date and time of Krishna’s visit to your home will be communicated by our volunteers at least a day before the visit.
  • When Krishna visits your home, you may do the following:
    • Install Zoom app on your laptop/mobile on which you are planning to invite Krishna home
    • You may keep the home and environment clean to invite your Krishna home
    • Krishna is coming home so you may dress yourself, that Krishna falls in love with you (traditional attire would be preferred)
    • Place your laptop/mobile on a clean table in which you are going to receive Krishna
    • Cook delicious sattvik preparation without onion & garlic or you may offer fresh cut fruits/dry fruits. Whatever it may be Krishna will accept your love and devotion.
    • You may also display any other loving presentations to Krishna on His Janmashtami
    • Keep bell, ghee lamp, incense, flowers ready for performing arati
    • Details on how to offer the naivedya and arati will be guided by our volunteer during the visit

kārāgṛhe vasa sadā hṛdaye madīye

mad-bhakti-pāśa-dṛḍha-bandhana-niścalaḥ san

tvāḿ kṛṣṇa he! pralaya-koṭi-śatāntare ’pi

sarvasva-caura! hṛdayān na hi mocayāmi

O Krsna, thief of my everything! The noose of my devotion remaining forever tight, You will continue to reside in the prison-house of my heart because I will not release You for ever.
